Hey there! I'm Tyler Lamb - a dedicated creative driven by the power of visual storytelling. As the founder of Encounter Productions, I believe in serving others like Christ and making your dreams a reality through our craft.

I started Encounter Productions back in 2019 with a desire to serve, make a difference in my community, and train up other talented creatives to do the same. With an award-winning background in journalism presented by institutions such as the SEJC, SPJ, and Tennessee Collegiate Associated Press, I know firsthand the impact of genuine storytelling. Encounter Productions was born from a desire to try new things, to step outside the box, and to continue documenting more stories through wedding photo and video, senior and family photos, and commercial brand partnerships. Today, Encounter Productions is honored to serve these areas of impact with integrity and dedication throughout Tennessee and across the Southeast.

Photographing his first wedding at age 17, Eric knew photography was his passion and went full time in 2008. He is an accomplished photographer and an avid traveler enjoying locations throughout Central and North America. Eric is passionate about creating memories through photography you'll remember forever.

As a University of Tennessee Knoxville and Middle Tennessee State University Alum, Brandon holds a bachelor's in video and film production and a master's in educational administration. He serves Encounter Productions as a talented second videographer. Not only is he talented behind the lens, but his personality on a wedding day is welcoming, warm, and encouraging.

Sydney began her journey with Encounter Productions as a high school senior shadowing on a video shoot. She instantly fell in love with all things visual media, business, and storytelling. Today, Sydney serves as one of our talented photographers who isn't afraid to bust a move with you on the dance floor on your wedding day.

With a Bachelor’s in Psychology and English, she believes that your social media should showcase your authentic self. Alexis aims to capture your unique personality and the “small moments,” sharing them as your special day unfolds.

How to Work With Us
We believe in giving back
In 2021 and 2022 we were able to purchase well-needed camera and lighting equipment for a local church plant to equip them to share the Gospel message in a clear and efficient way. It's our heart to continue helping churches through video production equipment donations.
We're also passionate about supporting Camp Shiloh, a summer camp that serves as a safe haven for kids from impoverished areas, located in upstate New York. For just $25, parents can send their kids to Shiloh for 10 days including 3 meals a day throughout the duration of the camp. We believe in making a difference in the lives of these kids by supporting an organization that values true friendship, mentorship, prayer, and God's love for children. When you partner with Encounter Productions for your next project, session, or wedding day, we donate a portion of our revenue to worthy causes like these.
